Incase you didn't catch, its heavily implied the son at the end figures out his mother isn't the real one, hence why he's looking at her like that

The crazy part is the kid figured it out from the get go. He was peeping everything from the beginning

Lupita is phenomenal

5:19 "Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them." - Jeremiah 11:11

Lupita Nyong'o should have gotten an Oscar for this movie.

Him lowering his voice to intimidate them in the driveway makes me laugh every. time.

You pick up on so much more upon second viewing. Once you understand they are copies you notice all the double images throughout the movie. The shadows on the sand as they're walking onto the beach, the Frisbee landing onto a perfect circle etc

May 25, 1986 .....HANDS ACROSS AMERICA, was a charity event where people across the US joined hands for 15 minutes to bring awareness for poverty, hunger and homelessness.
The tethered mirrored this in the red suits.

Nah because that scene when the family first came into the house. LUPITAS ACTINGG WAS INSANE. The way she was explaining the tethered idk that shit still gives me nightmares she deserves all the awards for that absolutely insane acting. 11:54

I found this channel through seeing your guys’ reaction to Get Out, I’m so happy you’re watching more Jordan Peele movies! Next we gotta do Nope!

12:32 "What are you people?"
"we're americans"

That shit made me giggle

00:39 Adelaide's mom mentions that they're filming a movie by the carousel. That movie turned out to be "The Lost Boys" (1987).

also the ending gets me every single time

The whole of America is full of guns, until you're in a horror movie 😂😂😂

I love this movie so much. That’s why the mom’s tether is the only one that could somewhat speak because she was actually the girl.

4:24 The mask is likely a comfort blanket for that kid. The same way some kids have blankets or toys, he has a mask. I don’t think it’s the end of the world

i think i started picking up on the twist when the son walked in on her killing the twin’s shadow. i was like…? well that’s weirdly animalistic ok?? then her determination to kill the tethered was weird and when she got out to kill her daughter’s shadow like… ik you gotta do it to keep your family safe but i feel like most people would have a harder time killing something that looks exactly like their child. it fully clicked when she killed her own shadow and grunted like the other tethered had been. that’s when i realized lupita’s (i forgot the characters name) tethered had been the only one to speak english and it all clicked

7:44 I never noticed he says “just trying to lighten the mood” right when the lights go out

When I watched this movie, I was obsessed with it, and I watched lots of videos about it. This movie has a LOT of symbolism and hidden meanings, its CRAZY!
