I bought a set of the E-torx sockets to remove the seats from my Silverado but they still didn't want to work. I used my extractor socket set and it worked like a charm. I've had to use the extractors to get a bite on the E-torx bolts so often, I just immediately grab them instead. Due to their design, each extractor socket will work on multiple size bolts so it's a much simpler solution.
That was fun seeing the beginning transformation . Can’t wait for the paint job. Please use the purple harbor freight gun to show again how skilled you are. God bless .
Idk if you have a harbor freight near you but they carry those e torx sockets. My last car was a cruze and everything was e torx on it minus like the oil drain plug.
Hi, thank you very much for this video. Super helpful. Not sure if it`s caused because of different production-years, different regions (EU/US), different engines, but it was quite interesting to see there are quite some differences...my smart car (petrol, 52kw, 12/2007, EU) has got only one cable connection + one fuel connection on top of the fuel pump + the gastank is 100% & permanent connected to the fuel filler neck, neither have I ever seen this saftey barrier in front of the fuel tank. :) But in general this video was fantastic to exchange the pump. Thank you. Greetings from Germany
The smart car is the only vehicle inducted into in the museum of modern art that was still in production.
These will be collectible in the future…I’ve seen these lifted with off road tires and they look awesome.
