There are no acoustics in the room.  He's hooked directly into the computer.  He has to wear headphones to hear what he is playing.

I have come to the conclusion, after watching this guy for a while, that he's a professional studio musician. Everything points to it. His grasp of music theory is top notch, he doesn't show his face and stays anonymous, and he's an excellent player who knows more instruments than just the guitar.

At the very least, he has a music degree of some sort.

The Dooo is a rabbit hole all his own. He's 27 and likely the most inspirational guitarist since Van Halen.

Yeah he plays metal, but they're all spread out between different videos except for maybe one or two which are specifically metal based.
He even put distortion on a ukulele and played metal on it.

The reason it’s so crisp is because it’s plugged into a daw and has effects over it

As for his ability to pick up songs in 30 seconds of listening. The Dooo has what is called Relative Pitch and has studied music theory for several years.

I noticed how you got emotional a bit near the 8 minute mark, that's a sign of knowing when you are witnessing someone who's a master at their craft.

im a little late to the reaction party, but if you listen when the dude asks him to play house of the rising son, his buddy in the background can be heard saying "god damn it" because he knows he has to do jumping jacks too, and he was probably doing something else when he heard the magic words lol
