Firestarter is MADNESS | Twisted Metal 3

Drew Dessadoo

One of the new additions that Twisted Metal III brought to the table. Firestarter is a hot rod who took Thumper's special and made it terrible. He should pay for his betrayal.

This is the fourth in my Twisted Metal III series. I want to go through each character in Twisted Metal starting with the first game. I hope you enjoy.

My channel must be the least consistent offering of content ever, but if you enjoy please consider supporting with a like, comment, and subscription!

RIP Keith Flint, I still blast Prodigy on the way to work to this day.

The fact they made his ending wanting a bbq was another one of those like, "Why are you competing?" They could have made his wish to watch the world burn then he gets engulfed in the flames thanks to his excitement.

I love that Auger kills Outlaw to get the health pick up and you just see gory car pieces flying to the ground lol

I do love how Patholgic 2 has the most punishing difficulty as Intended but also doesn't insult you for not meeting it

I know this won't be helpful since it requires turbos and speed, but when getting away from club kid's vortex, don't drive directly away, drive away at an angle, like an orbit.

They say Firestarter is a real Prodigy!!! I'll show myself out now. . .

Fun fact: Jim Davies played guitar for The Prodigy, known specifically for his work on the songs "Firestarter" and "Breathe." He later joined Pitchshifter for their 1998 album, from which Twisted Metal 3 features three tracks. This leads me to believe that the developers were big fans of this guy's work and that Firestarter is absolutely a nod to Keith Flint.

God... I love this game so much.

As someone who started with 1 & 2, III is my favorite. By far.

Then 2, 4, 1, SB & Black.

Haven't played the others yet. But am very aware of them.

I applaud you for trying the Big Slick difficulty. I find for Pure Lunacy at the beginning of every stage just go around getting all the healths while they kill each other. Health respawns twice as fast and enemies go for it a lot faster like before it even comes back they go for it.

33:55, i was thinking about that many minutes earlier, i didn't want to think the nightmare Egypt was going to be if it's even worse than Tokyo

Lets Dessadoo is still a great pun and I love it! Back to actually watching the video.

The rear fire spam from Twisted Metal 3. Pure lunacy difficulty is something that needs a museum study.

I feel like cars having unique passive traits/abilities is a missed opportunity for the series. Firestarter taking reduced fire damage like you said, Hammerhead doing more ram damage, (idk how they'd have made it work but) Auger being harder to flip over, Tooth breaking out of freezes faster, Flower Power's turbo draining slower, Warthog being immune to machine gun damage, etc. Like a lot of these write themselves.

6:50 you haave to have this mindset at all times, no matter what, take it and the turbos so you can control the power and homing rockets and all the health so you'll be apex
