Making A Custom Hat With Caiman Leather

This Crispy Telescopic Gunslinger is such a cool contrast of tone, texture, material and style. The Bone colored beaver fur felt is a really nice contrast against the narrow, matte/buffed black caiman leather band. We added a tonal, whip-stitch brim binding to the felt, which is only possible to do by hand. Normally a brim binding on a hat makes it a little more dressy, but the leather band balances it back out. The sterling silver Buckle set set with a Sapphire set this off perfectly and of course we topped it off with a sterling silver toothpick. This may be the best Zito video I have seen!! 😁. In fact, IMHO. Zito has the best-produced hat-making videos!! This hat looks so much like my future Southern Rock hat!! Just slightly different on the front and back brim! You are the only one in your shop who uses this technique. On the telescope crown! I hope you get to do this on my hat and use that very old jar 🤣. I also like the star sapphire you used. I would like one on the keeper instead of a D. It will match the bark blue ribbon, my blue eyes, and it is my bright stone 😁. I noticed the flag button on your hat 😁. I haven't seen Oakley since the hat challenge, and I haven't seen Blaze in a while! Did you find a new apprentice?

Rolled edges like that on a coffin top would be sick with a scull coming out. Burn in the scull, especially the eyes. And distress 100 years of bad roads on it. Slight kick over the left eye for shooting. Barbed wire and black gator for a band. Happy halloween.❤

Im a fan of the gunslinger style hats but i prefer really wide brims like 6" or more . I guess because im over six foot and my shoulders are broad , if i had to guess id say 18 - 20 inches across, so wide hats look natural on my frame 😂

I currently have a hat on order with ya'll. And laready picking out my second. I'm liking that second style on the brown hat shown. That may very well be my next Zito hat.
