Thank you for pointing out the fact that yes, someone worked for nothing to make these 100 dollar human hair wigs. People are being exploited for their skills and hair. Buy sustainably when you can yall. It does matter.

I have only ever ordered from Wig Studio 1 and Name Brand Wigs. Those are definitely legit sites, with amazing customer service. It’s hard when you’re new, though, there’s so much to learn about wigs.
The biggest scam I was a victim of was when I had pulled too much hair out and had to have a wig right away. It was the first wig I ever bought, and I was horrified at the thought of wearing a wig. I called an upscale salon I used to go to, and I was charged almost $750 for what I later learned was a regular Jon Renau synthetic wig. They cut the tag out, and refused to tell me the name of it, so I don’t exactly which one it was, though. Granted, it was a full lace mono, and they did cut and style it, but still. I felt I was ripped off hundreds of dollars.
Then, I saw wigs online that I liked, and just ordered them. I quickly learned that just because I liked a style, that doesn’t mean it’s going to look right on me!
Luckily, I’ve only bought from reputable sellers.
Now I love wigs so much, and am a total wig addict! 😱

I love your channel and have been binging your content. My hair has never been great (thin and very fine and slippery) age has made it even worse. So I have started my wig journey. Only have one. It was overwhelming at first. SO MUCH HAIR! But with your tips I have styled into something much more realistic. I’m seriously considering joining your community on skool!

I learned that you have to buy a wig from a reliable wig store and to watch out for their wig sales. When you are starting your wig journey, you should decide what wig features are important to you. I have found out through trial and error that I must have a lace front and at least a lace part. It’s important to know whether it has a lot of permatease. Some people like their wig to be poof, so permatease might be ok. Since I like my wigs to fit closer to my head, I prefer no permatease or limited permatease. I think😮 hand tied wigs are cooler. I think permatease on a wefted wig makes them much hotter. I live in Georgia, and it’s really hot. There is a big learning curve if you just dive in. Everyone needs to watch your school.

I have bought wigs from the same seller, because I want to buy from the UK, as it's closer. Some of them are good, and some of them are absolute trash both in color and quality. Some of them look like they've been re- sold and some like they never should've been sold at all.

I saw a wig today at one site, and by coincidence i looked it up elsewhere and the price difference was 200 dollars!!!!!

I also felt scammed after i went to a hairdresser for my first synthetic wig and later realized how i can easily buy wigs for hundreds of dollars less but without having the possibility of trying the fit or the color on.

I think it's such a shame that a big part of the wig industry is a scam, especially when wearers are sick with cancer and in shock, or possibly in shock or grief bc of alopecia. Some would say they exploit people, including low wages for the creators I'm sure.

I recently saw a comment on a review: she said she usually gets 3 of the same wig, and usually find that ONE of them is in quality😮 that's how many bad wigs there are.

And returns often cost money, involves risk, or isn't available internationally...

Can a fringe (bangs) hide a bad hairline?

@susanpienaar5267 1 year ago

Look for low density with lace front and monofillament part. I hate permatease in a wig... Buy the best, high price, and you will love your hair.

I've gotten scammed in the beginning too.I think it comes with the territory

So which sites or companies are MOST REPUTABLE for buying used wigs (from owner) for top dollar? And can you please do a video on this to let the world know also? Thanks!

@happydays9613 1 year ago

Ebay sell wigs, Amazon, just stick with places were if a issue less hassle getting your money back or write down the wig and go to a actual wig store, many times I have called around and located the wig near me. Buy more than one if you love it as a lot become discontinued.

ONLINE orders by companies you have NEVER heard of, do your research. I have paid a wig for £80-100 it was beautiful and human hair. However I did my research.
