🇨🇮 Yopougon, Abidjan, Ivory Coast | Three weeks after the clean-up operations organized for Ivory Coast's 66th Independence Day, I'm returning to explore one of the main thoroughfares of the Yopougon district.
During my previous visit, I explored this part of Yopougon when particular attention was being paid to the district's cleanliness and beautification. Three weeks later, I'm back for another immersion in the area and to see what this important traffic artery looks like today.
On this new walk, we start from Siporex and head towards the Yopougon Courthouse, passing through several lively areas of the district.
Our route takes us to Wakouboué, an area known for its intense commercial activity and numerous businesses related to mobile phones. We also stop by the area around the mobile phone market before continuing our exploration of Yopougon.
The tour then continues towards the Antenne district, where we discover the major road infrastructure and structures related to the 4th Bridge and Boulevard de la Paix interchanges.
We then proceed to the famous Bus 40 Terminus, a well-known landmark in Yopougon, before ending our tour at the Yopougon Courthouse.

During my previous visit, I explored this part of Yopougon at a time when special attention was being given to sanitation and the improvement of the commune. Three weeks later, I am back for another walk to discover how this important area looks today.
In this walking tour, we travel from Siporex to the Palace of Justice of Yopougon, passing through several lively areas of one of Abidjan's largest communes.
Along the way, we explore Wakouboué, an area known for its busy commercial activity and mobile phone businesses. We also pass through the surroundings of the mobile phone market before continuing our journey through Yopougon.
The walk then takes us to the Antenne area, where we see major road infrastructure and parts of the interchanges connected to the Fourth Bridge and Boulevard de la Paix.
We continue towards the famous Bus 40 Terminus before ending our journey at the Palace of Justice of Yopougon.
