I bought a CFG YNT18 Chinese mini excavator at auction—and before putting this diesel mini excavator to work, I gave it a complete pre-operational inspection.
In this video, we're inspecting this YNT18 Chinese mini excavator from top to bottom to see exactly what I bought for $6,000—and what surprises were hiding in the machine.
With Chinese mini excavators, an auction purchase can come with some surprises, so we're checking everything from the Yanmar diesel engine and hydraulic system to the radiator, cylinders, boom, stick, and pivot points.
And this YNT18 turned out to be a little different from what I've come to expect from Chinese mini excavators.

The only differences I can see is mine is model NT20Z it has a Zonsen v twin 25 HP instead of the diesel and mine doesn't have the swing boom. This is a pretty heavy machine tag says 1380 kgs around 3045 pounds has a metal canopy instead of plastic in fact everything is made from metal the only thing that is plastic is the joystick handles and the aux lever knobs which is nice. I see they put the same house door hinges on the rear door and left side panel which I found amusing lol. I haven't started mine yet going through it first finally located the engine oil filter but I can't get my hands in there and I got half the machine tore apart removed the 2 lower side panels and rear so-called bumper because of forklift damage to bottoms of panels and removed the bumper so I could unload the machine without doing more damage. The pin where the stick attaches to main boom is really sloppy the whole stick flopps from side to side probably going to see if I can find a better fitting pin or making on to fit tighter. I was shocked at size of this machine compared to the 20 18 and 15 series like wider track width and longer tracks heavier blade longer boom and stick. I also noticed your machine has the same defect as mine where the foot rest are they are built for someone with shorter left leg ROFLMAO. Oh and the famous mat material lol.
