Great video, at the end of this month I'm doing EY46 in business myself and have been nervous about the older product, so this video came out at the perfect time. Loook like back in the 2000 ethiad must have had the best bussiness class seat , emeirte e777 is 232 and i belive qatar older plane is also 232

Flying to Tokyo later this year from London, hoping it’s the a350 for the second leg from Abu Dhabi as currently shown but who knows?! Strangely EY800/801 shows up as a 777 until mid may and then switches to an a350..

At least the 777 product seems okay thanks for the video

Just a few days ago, I flew with Etihad for the first time, and it was a huge disappointment for me (all the more frustrating since it was a business class flight). From small details, such as being served red wine ice-cold or being charged extra for Wi-Fi, to the connecting flight being delayed by 5 hours, I ended up spending a total of 8 hours in the middle of the night at Abu Dhabi Airport. Even the Business Lounge didn’t make it any better, because you simply can’t spend 8 hours just eating and drinking. As soon as I got home, I submitted a request for compensation (in the amount of EUR 600, since the delay exceeded 3 hours). The next day, I received a response offering me a USD 200 voucher. I rejected this and will continue to pursue them until the full EUR 600 is paid.

greetings and thanks for the review. I was planning too book a business class flight from amsterdam too bangkok. But i see they switch planes at abu dhabi. from A350 too abu dhabi. Too a 777 too bangkok. Is the difference that big and worth the money?

I’m familiar with this business class product, and I find it very outdated and uncomfortable; I don’t understand why Etihad still uses these old aircraft when they aim to be among the best—in this regard, they’ve missed the mark.
