That Mazza is probably cheap because the throttle control assy has failed, it's a common fault. They're expensive to replace, but there's a bloke who knows how to service them despite them being sealed units. They use a slider over a contact track, this wears out. A replacement unit costs thousands (if Maserati still provide them) but this fellow cuts them open and reengineers them for a day's labour. 15 years ago he was charging 400 quid if memory serves, so I suppose today if he's still about probably double that.
Reliant Scimitar - - - - remember the other things they used to make??? Robin (del boy). Kitten and Rialto - - - - those 3 wheeled light blue vehicles that were everywhere in the 70's (F**k me, I'm showing my age now) As for the Renault 5 - - - - shocked to see one, they used to rust into oblivion............ but the new ones look pretty good.
The Supra was a find, being a rare manual. Was it the turbo version ? Donβt think it was but still a sought after car as the price showed. Sounded rough though to me ?
Oh I loved my GTA V6 Turbo - F111 SAR. Had to sell it in 1998 as I moved abroad. But, man, did it fly. Very special car only weighs 1200kg. And yes it is a slippery shape - will do 170 mph on a good day. How. Much did it go for at Anglia? Β£7,500?
