“Let’s get to work jack”

beckham needs to think of arkansas.  It’ll give him even more credibility

Henry reminds me of Rodney Rogers ( RIP).

As an Arkansas fan I do need to add one thing: I find it wildly improbable that Calipari signs only one five star player. Granted, the #1 ranked player, but even so, only one player.  It would be his worse recruiting class in memory. And as I posted the other day, he seems to think he is going to have the number one ranked class. I just can't see things breaking along those lines.  Granted,  he may be looking to have a couple of kids reclass, like Kamagate. I think Cal is more likely to end up with three five star kids than only one. That's his track record both at Kentucky and his time at Arkansas. Not going to try and pick out which kids. But I'd feel easier at betting he'll sign three five star players than only one.

Fun fact I can see Duke going into the portal for a center … think Ethan Taylor if he don’t work out at Michigan state

Great video and a lot of fun. And, I agree, a lot of Plan B players.

Agreed about Osaruyi in the late spring. Felt like Arkansas was trying to get Osaruyi, but I really think Ourigou is going to turn out to be a better pivot player.  The weird thing about Osayuri is that I think Arkansas if looking him less as a center and more as a power forward.  More than that, I think Arkansas might be cooling on him entirely. I think Plan A for Arkansas is to try and get A.J. Williams ad then look at Osaruyi as a replacement for Muurinen. The Plan A center is Kamagate.  Osaruyi could still be of interest as  Plan B at power forward and Plan B or C at Center.

I think the key to understanding a lot of Cal is doing stems from two things. First. He wants to win another championship.  He was a great coach a Memphis,   great coach at Kentucky,  but winning a championship at Arkansas would be career affirming like nothing else he could do. Think about it. Were he to get a title at Arkansas, the headlines write themselves. He is a Hall of Fame coach nearing the end of career. He just signed a big extension which might be the last he ever signs. What is left for him? Just this: for all his accomplishments,  he has one only one title. A title at Arkansas would kick his career up to a new level.

However, the loss to Arizona hit him hard. Despite having the best offensive guard in the country, Arizona beat Arkansas solidly and for one reason: their front court easily outclassed Arkansas'. So as a man on a mission, he seems determined to get a front court to match his back court. The current team has a great backcourt. I've seen two rankings of back courts so far, and both had Arkansas in the slot. And despite a late start, he did a remarkable job of getting a lot of solid front court guys, one with superstar potential. He managed to get six kids 6'11 or taller. 3 of them,  and perhaps 4, seven feet or taller. All of them athletic and quick. I think this is the template he has in mind for the future. Sure keep getting an Acuff or a Smith or a Black to run the offense, but a bunch of big bodies who can't be pushed around the way Arizona pushed around Arkansas. To that end from here on out I see Cal going for Plan A in the back court and Plan A in the front court. He has made it super clear that Beckham Black is his guy. And he is looking for the equivalent on the front court. Just not sold on Osaruyi being the Must Get player on the front court. He'd be a great pick up and any team would love to have him. But I think Cal is looking for a front court guy who will make it hard not to win a title. I don't get the sense that the coaches feel that they are going to get Uvwo (who despite his lack of defense is the kind of guy who could help you win a title with his defense). But even with that I think Cal is waiting for Kamagate.  Not the shot blocker Uvwo is, but a better rebounder, much better on offense, a better athlete, and a higher ceiling.

But I think you are right about a LOT of these guys being Plan B players. Once Black and Williams and Uvwo make their decisions,  a bunch of other players should have their situations clarified almost literally overnight.

I also think Paul goes to unc with Cj and that’s the front court they can get the guards through the portal

Most of these I agree with but you gotta believe byu gets one of these players Aj , branch and I think Henry is next

Demarcus Henry sister plays bball for Ohio state too.  I hope he goes to UNC though

Assuming Sayon Keita enters the 2027 Draft, I think UNC would get one of those Centers, probably Wabbington.

I think Beckham goes to Arkansas like his big brother did

Dream on

I thin wabbington goes to Arizona

Seth Tremble to Louisville

L’s DOWN!

Go Hogs ❤

I think Dylan mingo goes to to Texas after Baylor and team up with spears & Austin goosby

no confidence level on lil skip to Louisville Aaron?
