I recreated as many rival cars as possible from the video below. To make this project happen, I even taught myself a little 3D modeling and Blender from scratch.

This video covers Stage 1, up to the R200 CLUB rivals. Even that character "Ishida" finally appears.

I've also recreated the Course In cinematics and poems. Stage 1 features the Wangan Midnight R-style poems. (A separate video for Stage 2 is currently in preparation.)

I hope this video brings back at least a little of the atmosphere and memories of Namco & Genki's classic Wangan Midnight arcade games and the PS2 version. The entire video consists of uninterrupted gameplay and audio recorded directly from the game with the mod installed. There is no video editing. Please forgive any clumsy driving or awkward AI behavior you may notice.

This project contains many handmade ports, edits, fixes, and original modifications created by an amateur. None of the assets I created for this project will be distributed. Thank you for your understanding.
