Great video! It seems that Realityscan got even better, that barrel was surprisingly smooth. The heat map is a cool feature too.

My problem isnt taking a few photos and processing one static mesh...its conceptualizing how im supposed to create dozens of them if not hundreds 😂. Ive seen workflow of the blender process and its like 20 hours+ for professionals. I dont have that time so i appreciate this.

I recently got an iPhone camera bump/lenses cover and I cut out some polarising film for the lens and the flash, and instead of using the adhesive I just hold it on with tack and wham - cross polarised iPhone photogrammetry rig when I need it. It’s only really usable in low light / darkness, since the flash isn’t strong enough to overpower sunlight, and the cross polarisation isn’t perfect cos the flash is slightly offset from the camera, but in some cases it can be really advantageous for some objects, capturing de-lit images and the ability to scan shiny objects

Excellent video! As 3d laser scanners are getting affordable it would be great to see tutorial to texture 3d scan model by using texture from photogrammetry.

I’ve tried using that delighter so many times but always got bad results, not just that, every delighter (I install one on Unity and some others). This came out pretty nice though.

Do you already know if RealityScan has any limitations? When for example you need to capture transparent object etc.

After 24 hours, still haven't uploaded the photos to process the file. Not sure what tue point is to this, unless it's to use our data to teach AI. My App tracking protection might be the cause for it. The moment I open the app Google tried 90+ times to get to my data. I like that there are "free" options out there but know that if it's free, you are the product.

Btw, no shade on Gleb here, love the dedication and work he puts into his content.
