Hi there! I am about 150 miles further north on the Hudson than Rhinebeck, but I will say that it’s very chilly up here! You will be fine wearing warm woolly knits. Safe travels!

Everything you make is so beautiful.. I did have to chuckle thought when you said once it gets under 85 degrees you start thinking of sweater knitting..the mornings have been a crisp 64 degrees here all week in Canada where I live and I can only wear a sweater for half a day before I have to shed it for the afternoon because it's up to 69 degrees! 🤣

Your Saugerties inspired the one on the blocking mats for our middle daughter. It was a lovely knit, although I did frog back to make the armholes deeper and lengthened the body and sleeves (we're tall folk). I used The Farmer yarn from Gathering Yarns (wool + alpaca) and it's SO lovely. Thanks for the nudge. Enjoy Rhinebeck.

Mary Poppins is too cute wearing her donut, her twin, Charlotte Brontë is having her teeth cleaned tomorrow morning, I’m keeping it a secret from her until we get to the doctor’s office!

Oh my gosh, your grid gambit I’d gorgeous! I have both those yarns. I have not spun the Finn but I may be soon! The sewing classes sound great. I used to make my own clothes all the time but not so much anymore. I have their backpack pattern cutout and have signed up for that class.
