I feel like I'm running on a treadmill and every featurette is a hanging hotdog that's so close yet so far, I dream of buying the game and launching it for the first time
Excited to see the inevitable "gun engineering" simulator mode where you have to build weapons from scratch using a machining workshop, and physically accurate materials which break under perfectly simulated stresses when firing, and you have to put lightening cuts in the bolt carrier you designed in order to improve the cycling reliability when using subsonic ammo which you down-loaded yourself with brass you recovered from the local range, which is run by a Sosig who has a perfectly accurate simulation of a spouse and 2 children, and accurately responds to changing market situations, including becoming stressed when ammunition prices rise, resulting in increased mustard pressure, leading him to visit his Sosig doctor for persistent headaches, and being procedurally prescribed simulated lisinopril capsules.
On his way home from the doctor, the Sosig observes a simulated butterfly flapping its wings algorithmically and inadvertently causing a dynamically calculated tsunami in Sosig Australia.
I can only imagine how much work it is to make all of these guns operate using real world physics, but I hope you know just how much some of us will appreciate it! I'm going to spend the rest of my natural and unnatural sosig life messing around with all the small intricacies with the physics and ballistic system! The physics behind how guns operate is my favorite part about firearms!
11:48 MY HERO! I hated using revolvers in VR games simply because I was not able to reload how I do IRL. It always ticked me off having to load offhand and being unable to manipulate the cylinder. GOATED DEVELOPERS
