How can anyone not love Les?  Most amazing TV show I've ever seen, because of the pure authenticity.

Btw, the key to bending copper pipe without crimping it when you don't have a spring bender is to fill the pipe with sand then bend slowly.

There's nothing better than high quality h2o.

"Otherwise I'd be reduced to drinking my own pee.... hehe yeah right"
~Les Stroud 2020

"I'am glad there is good water around here! otherwise, I would have to drink my own pee!......Hahaha yea right"!!   Never gets old!!

Really miss having you do straight survival on TV. All the other stuff out there, such as Naked and afraid, seem so damn fake.

I never get tired of listening to Les Stroud...

Tip: Snow + bottle + sock = unlimited water. Step 1. Fill the bottle with snow. Step 2. Put the bottle inn the sock. Step 3. Cut a vertical hole in the sock and wear it like a necklace, underneath the jacket. The warmth from your body will melt the snow. (When active/moving) Ps. You can use a string in the place of the sock. (But that's going to get a bit uncomfortable)

So happy to see you doing this yourself on YouTube.  These bring back fond memories of when Discovery was really about discovery and History Channel was about history.  Will like every video, new and old!

You've been a childhood hero and a constant inspiration through my life. I enjoyed Survivorman with my brother growing up and we loved implementing skills like shelter building learned from you in our back 40acre woods. Cheers Les, thank you.

Les, thank you for posting this. We desert dwellers know the importance of staying hydrated all too well. Personally, I think we need more knowledge of where to find water in the desert. Especially here in the Sonoran desert.

That water still idea was freaking great! First time I've seen anyone do that..it's a no brainer actually... I'll remember that idea for life now. Thank you Les!!

Thank you for posting this for free.

Survivorman was prime time TV for me in high school. 26 now. Loved the raw trueness of the show. I didn’t need any gimmicks.

Growing up as a kid in the woods of Kentucky, I loved watching your show on tv. I think somehow you’ve inspired me all the way into adulthood.
I’ve since started a YouTube channel and can only hope to challenge myself somewhat as you have.

It’s fun watching you dive into the Sasquatch mystery and I’m about to binge the new foraging episodes.

Miss looking forward to your shows.. will always be a timeless pleasure and source of education.

I love how survivorman cuts through all the bullshit, and shows us you really can eat snow and not die, or drink sea water without dying.  It's just how you use the resource in what situation you are in...

I wonder how many times he's gotten sick from his intention to feel connected to a place

They need to have a "Les vs. Bear" survival challenge....  last man standing...   it could go on for months...
