Well this is one for the books!  A male lead that excepted his wife’s intelligence was greater than his! That she was an exceptional strategist and the inner workings of the court! That their position, as well as possibly their lives, and certainly their future generations, depend on their alliance and total loyalty to each other! Their aim was position and power!  But mostly none of the men realized how they got manipulated or managed, in her husband‘s case trained! That she was actually the one in control!
Probably THE BEST strong woman movie ever!!

In the end it all worked out, just hope, although never mentioned,  they had children, otherwise there is no one to inherit and all this glory, power, and prestige was for for them only.

Good drama. Interesting and entertaining. Realities of noble families then. Same things happen in families of financial and political elite today. But "common" folk must pay close attention too. Love and romance are for dating. Building and maintaining strong and longlasting family require different things.
