The fact that the three kills feat existed at all. Like Riot CLEARLY designed it exclusively for pro play because for actual normal people that shit was decided literally by the second wave spawning.

Riot had us Junglers working overtime during season 15. Every match was so exhausting

The annoying thing with atakhan was how silent the buff was. I had so many games where people did not understand how important it was or how we would just lose team fights now that the enemy has it

Feats of strength made the game more stressful. They put too much stress on the jungler and penalized the whole team if a single lane was doing bad (three kills, first turret).

not everything, nexus turret respawn, t3 boots tho in a different form

Before watching: Turns out, adding a new mechanic that snowballs a team early adds a new 'ff 15' moment when you lose it.

Who would have guessed adding a mechanic that benefits one team but not the other was a bad idea?

In organized play the season was literally reduced to “do not interact with your lane opponent and group for objectives to team fight” it was so boring.

Last season literally got to the point where whenever the game got to 17 mins I'd just play solely for setting up atakhan control. The number of desperation danger pings I had to give to stop my team inting before it was crazy xD

I still remember reading early on that whichever team lost Feats would have the opportunity to win them later on in the game, it was more like a "whichever team wins it gets it first" kind of deal.

I was excited for the concept. And my disappointment was immeasurable when they never implemented the Feats comeback feature for the losing team.

When feats of strength came out, i immediately said, "so having an inter on my team makes the entire enemy team get stronger boots that i am not allowed to have?  Doesn't that buff people who ruin games?  Doesn't that hurt all their teammates?"  Of course riot couldnt forsee thaf

Something I feel that is glossed over is it seems that riot didn’t intend to keep these changes from the start. With season 2025 they started having themed seasons, and the feats of strength was directly tied to the noxus theme, and atakhan was tied into the current lore of at the time. It seems they were trying to shift to a more intermittent style of having things purposely change out every season

the firstblood / first 3 kills part was such a bad idea. especially locking t3 boots COMPLETELY behind the feats made it so stressful and unfun. The petals were kind of fun i guess.

I got such dopamine picking up the roses last season i miss them

Aspect that only one team got to have all the buffs, usually the winning one make season really early game oriented and stresfull to play. I play for fun, i have enough stress at work.

devs: we gonna add this 3 side objectives that gives bonus to the team that gets them, it will be a lot more challenging and competitive when contesting them

in actuallity: team gets a very slight advantage at the start, gets the first objective and then steam rolls the other team with the other 2 objectives.

S15 made me switch frop support to jungle. I liked how essential the role had become.
The season brought massive interaction between players and lots of teamfights.
Lots of high pressure ones tho (so much PRESSURE ACTUALLY man). Plus,I don't think the disparity of the impact between the roles was healthy for the game (jgl and supp far too OP imho).
I really like the new balance they brought with the new season. I'm still jgl and I feel less pressured to do everything, which is nice.
Good experimentation tho, nice shake-up, but I kinda relieved it's over.

As a jungle main this was definitely the worst season ever. Nonstop stress over objectives.

I wish they kept the flowers, I feel like and the "tier 2.5" boots (feats tier 3 boots for mid would be mildly stronger than non-feats tier 3)

If I remember the stats correctly atakan hat like 85% winrate while sould normaly have around 95%. And with soul you had to be ahead to get it and couldn't just steal one thing, so ot really scewed towards soul.

Season 15 was the season i quit being a Jungler , i always took pride in being a jungler playing the most diffrent of all roles being able to play all classes of champions equally well and being the X factor/Playmaker of the team thats what i loved about being a jungler in Football terms if the Top and Support are Centre Backs and Mid/ADC are the Strikers the Jungler is the Number 10 playmaker . Season 15 was the season Jungle was made simple and exhausting no freedom whatsoever if you were a Jungler you had one macro plan all game anything else was the wrong move to make you could get a Quadrakill bot but not the Second Grubs it was the wrong move , clear jungle > take vision > gank in the 25 second time window if you can > take the objective that is up or enemy hasnt taken > back > rinse and repeat if you invade thats wrong if you gank multiple times in between clears and objective timers its wrong you shadow someone thats wrong , that season i switched to mid spammed Akali/Sylas/Viktor and Yas and peaked 100 LP higher in Masters than when i was playing Jungle thats how much worse i became at the role because i didnt have fun playing it
