I can't believe it took me this long to realize it. I knew the Hubologists were a reference to Scientology, but I failed to realize the most obvious reference: "The Hub" — a reference to Dick Hubble and L. Ron Hubbard: the founder of Scientology.

funny how many religions have micro-transactions

Hubology is such a great parody of Scientology

Being a fallout fan is like being in a creepy cult so this is very relatable.

4:52 Harold is a gift! He must be protected. He must grow. Until the Entire world is covered in his presence! Hail to the God Tree!

In my first playthrough of Fallout 4, a Brotherhood vertibird crashed and killed a bunch of the Pillars of the Community.

What I did? Well sorry Harold, you will suffer longer, because the chance to return the trees, bushes, grass and green to wasteland, that can hold the water again and terraform it in to at least some degree of pre-war nature, no matter in what mutated variant, far outweights Harolds personal drama and plight. I feel for Harold but the results might be life or civilization saving. Especialy with Water purifier running.

I find the children of atom fascinating. Particularly how their beliefs kinda play into the game itself.

You missed the fact that Harold is a character from the original Fallout and was with the master when the master fell into the FEV, Harold got knocked out and exposed to FEV as well but did not fall in so only ended up looking like a ghoul (which he isn't).

Whenever I played through the Oasis Quest line, I always convinced Harold that continuing to grow wasn't a bad thing. In my mind, he has become Ygdrassil (please spell check me) the World Tree from Norse mythology.

He grew throughout Oasis to protect those who listened and cared for him...if he continued to grow, maybe he could bring some amount of peace back to the Wasteland and bring life back to the Wasteland.

I hate to be that guy in the comments, but you missed the Children of the Cathedral , the cult that served the Master in FO1. :-)

1:02 Harold was in Fallout 1 as well. Also he's not a ghoul, he's an FEV mutant.

Randall Clark, a real hero

Last segment called upon every radking fan

Lol I'm from Utah too. Hearing weird religious beliefs are a given in some places.

Cult of the mothman video!

" some might even call me an expert, I've lived in Utah my whole life." 😂😂😂😂😂😂.

That hits so close to home and it's funny cause it's true.

I'm in utah also and been here most of my life so I really get it.

Surprised you didn't include Mormonism in the video though since it somehow survived

There is one cult that was missed in here I was hoping to hear from: the Mothman Cult.

I of course want more, not to mention I like videos that are an hour plus long. Helps get through work.

Bro, vids just keep getting better
