Interesting video and timely for me, as I have to redo the webbing on my settee and chairs. Again! The first time I noticed the cuts in the foam and yes, mine doesn't have canvas on it. So it's a shame you didn't show how you fitted the canvas. I would be concerned that if the canvas was stapled to the frame the edges would tear as it doesn't stretch. Also what level of tension should be applied to the webbing before stapling it?

Can I ask why manufacturers place zigzag spring right above the wooden support? If I add them underneath webbing would it make the sofa firmer?
