One of the great live bands ever!!!!

This channel is so freaking cool! I love that I get to share the breakdowns of all my favorite songs of my 10 year old son. It makes him appreciate the art of making music! No digitalized sounds. Being able to point out and say that person is singing that that sound is coming from somebody's mouth not a computer is dope. Please do Stone Temple pilots any grunge band from the '90s would be amazing! You guys are going to go far with this channel I came here after listening to the Mike Calta show! Rock on y'all!!!

That entire album has this overall sound of spooky echo and the feel of his vocals. Love this! Just found this show via Robert Kelly and Calta.

"Those thirds are cool..". Triplets!

That dude back left actually looks like Cobain & Vedder’s love child. You know they had one.

Seriously… which algorithm did you guys piss off that I’m only just now finding you?  Maybe I’m reading too much into the motivations of the production, but the strange echoes seem indicative of the mental illness of the subject of the song.  Much love, gentlemen. ❤

@25:10 When you know the concept, it makes it even more meaningful. Love u Eddie

You have assigned guitarists wrong! Mike is playing with wah on the main feel, not Stone . 9:18 is Stone, 9:22 is Mike.

Brendan O’Brien worked with Pearl Jam starting with Vs. For their debut album, the producer was Rick Parashar, who also helped produced the Temple of the Dog album.

Also, Dave Krusen is the drummer on Ten. There’s also another version of Even Flow, re-recorded around the time they recorded the Singles soundtrack songs, with Dave Abbruzzese.

This is the best show ,watched about 15 videos in 2 days ,would be more but work and stuff, absolutely love it ,all the best from scotland

i've seen an engineer do that reverse reverb in Pro Tools.  He copied the vocal to a new track.  Reversed the vocal event and added a ton of reverb.  Captured the reverb tail only and pasted it to the front of the original vocal event.  Brilliant, and took him all of 10 seconds haha

Pure fun.

In the original album version, he says "fuck it up" before the solo. In the Brendan O'Brien mix (from redux) it seems to have been removed. I find that fascinating and it reminds me of how as he got older he started singing the word "father" instead of "daddy" in songs like Alive etc. Sensible Ed

Would love to hear something off Soup by Blind Melon ... that album is a gem.

That was really cool and interesting to watch, would love to see you do a song from Janes Addiction like Ocean Size, Mountain song or Three Days.

Greetings from Germany

Rick Parashar London Bridge Studios in Seattle.  He also produced "Love On Ice" my buddies from highschool...check out their album "Nude" on Interscope Records

Those chords at EVEN FLOW and the backup vocals are otherworldly and absolutely gorgeous, that chorus always has lifted me for years and now I know why ,thank you guys

Pearl Jam has some of the best outros I've ever heard

Great show again.Remember when I first bought this cd.Put my beer on my Nirvana CD and proceeded to play this 10 or 12 times in a row.Still can't figure out what   he's saying half the time.Thanx.p.s. Good job Mike but damn man get some sun.You look like a giant glowstick!😉😎
