Today I'm explaining this massive South Park iceberg I made, South Park is an American animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for Comedy Central. The series revolves around four boys — Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick — and their adventures in and around the titular Colorado town. It first premiered on August 13th 1997 and since then has amassed 28 seasons.

Fun fact about Isaac Hayes, he COULD NOT write anything at the time of his resign, the resigning letter was a HANDWRITTEN LETTER that he could not have wrote. Isaac found the scientology jokes funny and in good spirit so it's very very unlikely that he would personally resign from the show due to those jokes. My theory is that scientology being the cult it is threatened Isaac and/or his family and wrote a note resigning from South Park.

It’s nice to see an iceberg video where the narrator explains each entry more instead of giving a brief explanation. I find it refreshing to see.

When I was in elementary school, my mom had heard so many bad things about The Simpsons that she caught us watching one day and immediately changed the channel to another cartoon not realizing she had put on the South Park bigger longer and uncut movie. South Park has really shaped my upbringing and I thank Matt and Trey every day for being such awesome guys!

16:22 my fav positive celebrity reaction will always be Lorde. She said that after the episode came out she kept saying “Yaya I am Lorde” around her house.

My mom wouldn't let me watch The Simpsons when I was a kid because she thought I'd be like Bart, but one day she saw me changing the channel to South Park and said, "I remember watching that when I was young too, but you shouldn't watch it." Even so, she didn't make me change the channel. It seems it brought back good memories of when her father would find her watching the show in the early hours of the morning and say, "Daughter, do you really stay up late watching offensive cartoons?"

I'm listening to this while doing my night shift at a gas station and I occasionally have to repress my own laughter because it was horrible idea to listen to this at work ☠️

The South Park hit and run game should have been called "Simpsons Did It".

1:33:00 My dad managed to get a bag of the Cheesy Poofs. He of course ate it, but he keeps the bag pressed in a frame for display.

Tolkien has his name changed twice. Way back in the episode where all the kids make fun of Tolkien for being so rich, he convinces his parents to shop at J-Mart and when they walk in, the other families see them and refer to them as the “Williams” or something like that. I have for some reason always remembered it and its still in that episode today

42:50 if they hate South Park so much, why did they paint their building Towlie purple?

@2:05:22 Considering that Heidi‘s parents die in the first episode, we see them. It might be safe to say that the people that we see her with are either foster parents or aunts and uncles. Plus the woman looking after her in gym with the other kid, could have just been comforting them cause their guardians weren’t there. Pretty sure that’s the two days before the day after tomorrow episode. Just a thought though.

I'm not proud of knowing this or feeling compelled to say it, but. Linda is Butters' mom. Not Jimmy's.

Also, as someone who had Deviantart anime South Park as a pivotal part of their high school years, I really can't emphasize enough how much it made my heart swell that they would make Creek part of the show. It felt so.... idk sincere? It felt like adults who were very confused by this phenomenon but ultimately endeared by it so they went along. It means a lot.
