We actual didn't have to wait for these episodes to air. For the finale Nickelodeon played the last four episodes back to back in a 2-hour special

The choice for Zuko to go back to the fire nation was such a great idea - shocked me even as a kid, and kinda even more as an adult.

The Agni Kai, so sad to see these siblings fight that it gets silent sometimes... never seen a show end in such a satisfactory way than this!

the sokka slanderrrrr is heartbreakingggg

These 3 vidoes is a must watch for anybody who is a fan of ATLA. Thank you so much for the insights, discussions, the deep conversations and being real with how the show impacted you.

The thing that saves the energy bending for me is that it's not only because he's the avatar he can do it, but he is the only avatar that could do it, because despite hundreds of years of his past lives telling him he needs to change, he refuses to bend his spirit, even for the fire lord.

Oh man Azula’s wailing at the end of the battle is one of the hardest things to hear. Her dad fucked her up SO BADLY.

I love this show because despite being a kid's show it's not condescending and respects its viewer. ATLA follow the rule "Show, don't tell" completely. Show doesn't tell you animal cruelty is bad it shows you your beloved Appa being treated awfully and you understand why circus is bad

Zuko has my favorite redemption arc in cinema

Regarding not many deaths in Avatar, I think it fits the world. With the spirits but also the fact that kids can literally shoot fire and hurl boulders. Having respect for life seems important to learn at an early stage.

One thing I noticed is that part of Zukos fight style is breakdancing . Getting on the ground doing some flares which sends sweeps of fire. I think it adds to how dancing is core to firebending as mentioned in the Firebending masters episode. I’m also just realizing how you learn that dancing is restrictive in the fire nation as seen in the episode Aang has is footloose episode. Just how the fire nation has strayed from their roots and Zuko really embraces it.

The ending being radically pacifist was my favourite

I can't fully trust anyone without enough whimsy in their heart to enjoy Sokka.

I jest, I jest...

Partially

“Did Jet just die? You know, it was pretty unclear…” got to be one of my favs from this season

7 freaking PM??????? Bro I thought I had a LEGENDARY page refresh only to get slapped by the 5 hours away!!

the progression of Konnor’s expression in the thumbnails is hilarious. Bro has been turned

9:55 Actually, the finale was all one shot. We didn't have to wait. Imagine if we did though...OMG!

Not only did you guys provide excellent commentary, but the production on these videos was also very high quality. Really glad I found your channel!

The music is so good and it's just one guy who did most of it and then for the 4 part finale he gets a small live orchestra. Fully recommend the live orchestra it's beautiful

Can you believe there are still people arguing that Aang should have killed Ozai?
