As a Christian with depression and OCD, NF is one of the greatest discoveries of my life. His songs have helped me feel understood and not alone, and helped in my faith as well! ✝️🤍❤️

Nate in white represents a hopeful version of himself from the previous album. The keys that were taken belonged to his mansion, which serves as a metaphor for his mental space. This signifies that hope has lost control over Nate’s psyche and that another force—likely Fear—has taken over again instead.

I love NF and this video made me bawl my eyes out. Just beautifully made while showing the dark times of OCD. This song resonated with me and I'm sure countless others!

When I first watched Fear my heart stopped when I saw him constantly check the lock on the door, when my OCD was at it's worst, the constant checking, repeating the same unlocking and locking back up, squeezing your keys and shaking your hands around them to feel the pressure to the point of pain just to remember physically when your brain is constantly doubting that you did. even now that motion even though im at a better place still haunts me and showed me where NF was leading us down the spiral he's fighting. Without a doubt one of the hardest but subtle depictions I seen, beautiful and haunting in this masterpiece.

I think the fact that he’s washing his hands with holy water might be pointing to more than contamination OCD, and showing that maybe he’s trying to be a better person in his mind

I bawled my eyes to this. The lock and the washing scene was so real. IT FELT SO REAL.

I always felt that I resonated with NF's music but never knew he struggled as well.

ok, I haven't started the video yet but... a video on NF?! I'm all in! let's go!!

I think to get some sort of understanding, musically speaking, about his struggles, you have to go back to his 1st album and take the journey. He had a song that was released some time before his 1st album called: Beautiful Addiction.
Take the journey, grab some towels (because tissues won't work).
For everyone; Keep Moving Forward. I've been struggling since I was a kid but didn't fully understand it til I was in my 30s... now almost 15 years later, I'm still here. I am still standing. my mental health has gotten worse as I've gotten older but the tools that are out there (like Nate) and the artists (like NF) who can articulate it better than most, can help us win. You will win. You are stronger than you think you are. I know. I am/was that person. ❤

This definitely depicts exactly how it feels! I can’t wait to see the Hope video, it’s hard to be in those dark moments thinking and feeling like life will be like this. I am beyond grateful to people like you Nate l go give us hope and give us our lives back.

This was one of the most relatable songs I've ever listened to. I struggle with mental spirally and many different themes of pure o OCD. The lyrics are amazing because I relate to feeling like I am crazy and not knowing what is real or fake. My relationship with God has been helping me so much and I know he can help all who struggle like I do. This song man... wow... it is so relatable to be asking God why.
