There’s also one in Crystal Lake IL that also has a loud door operator!

2:51; That motor sounds like a key from an organ in church like it is heaven at the top.

Holy 2 speed door!
It’s an 🅰️🔔 with a noisy door operator. But at least the motor is epic tho.

Abell, the elevator manufacturer that is notorious for their super loud door operators!!!

BEST STARTUP SOUND EVER

Menards is a great mall in St. Ann, Missouri, with a huge Abell two-speed door freight elevator with a powerful motor.

Wow, I’d install a center opening 2 speed door rather than that monstrosity; no wonder the operator sounds so rough!

Wow Andrew that’s one of a big cab with the epic motor and the door operator. Very odd because in most cases it doesn’t have a noise door like that. Pretty decent and a good find and the fixtures light up perfectly too. I couldn’t say that it was a perfect find Andrew

The next Menards store you should film is the one in independence Mo it has the same door system and the cab is the opposite of this one and also that elevator at that Menards is near Kansas City while this one is near St. Louis

Excellent motor!

It seems like Menards uses a very common layout throughout a lot of their stores. Because it seems like this one is about the same floor plan as the one in Sioux City, Iowa
