There is plenty of strong and powerful racing engines out there, but the level of engineering and the attention to detail profused in making this one is just outstanding.

I worked at the Datsun / Nissan dealer in 1977. Since I had a background in Yamaha, Datsun and other imports to the states, I was given the task of repairing all of the fuel injected 280Z, 260Z, 240Z and 1600 / 2000 roadster as no one could synchronize the carburetors and understand the fuel injection system & wires. This is a very good engine, some differences with the block but especially the cylinder head. I am retired now and proud of your team! I hope your father is proud as well.

I love it. One moment, you see equipment costing as much as a small house being used, the next moment: 2 gas cooker.

Japan has shown the world how to build quality automobiles and just about everything else

For me, gear-driven cams have the same appeal as high-end mechanical watches ⚙️ ⚙️

As a mechanic this guy was awesome, well the whole team were very particulars great job made in japan

those cam shaft drive gears are a work of art

I owned 2 1970 240z's most reliable cars I ever owned. the red one i wanted to always  put in, believe in or not, a Buick straight 8. never could find one. ended up selling them to buy a work truck. now I'm to old to trust my self to drive. really loved them cars, the sound they made at full gallop, the go-cart handling (after pe bushings all around koni shocks) miss my babies!

Japan’s skill and consideration in engineering is second to none.

It is always very soothing to watch Japanese engineers work on vehicles. Everything is performed manually and assembled like a watch. Beam style torque wrenches, tightening bolts by feel, handcrafted quality. No beeping electronic torque wrenches or zipping everything together with cordless impacts. Also of note, how quiet the shop atmosphere is, almost Zen like.

Thanks for the upload. No silly music or Timelapse just awesome content! 👌👏

To find passion in engineering is the Japanese hallmark of pride in craftsmanship.
