He doesn’t need Hollywood Hollywood needs more men like him

I live in Italy and every time I go into a coliseum, and to my girlfriends horror, I stand in the middle and I yell “are you not entertained?!!!”

His performance in Gladiator was spectacular and Hans Zimmer elevated it into another realm.

I never get tired to watch Gladiator a significant movie ever

He is so down to earth but also so complex and intelligent. I love Russell Crowe, one of my favourite actors.

Beautiful Mind really showed his ranged as an actor.  Gladiator is still one of my favorites!

When Russell gained so much weight for The Insider, he expressed how difficult it is, not was, to lose, then gain it back again. Up to now, he hasn't recovered his desired weight, as well as being 60, one's metabolism slows down. Russell was 35 when he was in the Insider. I'm 76, still coaching Tennis on the ATP pro circuit, still fighting my weight gain. Russell gained a massive amount of weight for a movie role, I was slim until 50, playing in a senior tennis tournament in Sweden, tore my knee cartilage, and barely able to walk, the poundage crept upwards including further injuries. I feel I understand how difficult
the battle is to get to and stay at our desired weight. I so admire Russell from his interviews as a "down to Earth " person, his dedication to his choice of roles, doing the research, his musical career, taking care of his family. I wish Russell good health, enjoyment & contentment in all of his days.😊

His run of films early in his career is absolutely insane. The Insider,  LA Confidential, Gladiator, Master & Commander, and Beautiful Mind. All in like a 5 or 6 year span. Legend.

LA Confidential is one of the greatest films ever made. Everything about it - the cast, the script, the style, the story - is incredible. It's such an underrated gem.

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that this guy delivered a number of Oscar worthy performances such as Insider, Master and commander, LA Confidential, A beautiful mind

I am an Australian ex-military serviceman. When the Water Diviner came out, Russell copped a LOT of Flack in Australia for it. But it was a brilliant take on a war Australia and New Zealand fall just short of celebrating. In one interview Russell absolutely nailed it. He said people forget that during the battle of Gallipoli, WE were the invaders. And he was dead right.

Crowe's most impressive role--from my perspective--was portraying Jeffrey Wigand. Yes, obviously, he's been bloody fantastic in just about every film he's been in, but "The Insider" just did not get enough attention. Not simply because of the subject material, but because of the lengths to which Crowe went in order to accurately "become" Wigand. Unbelievable work.

The soundtrack of Gladiator is haunting.

Not many can argue with Russells performance in Gladiator and the film itself was epic 🤩

Russel Crowe didn't get interesting to me as a person until after Sinead O'Conner died. He came out with a heart felt tribute and memory he had with her.. they had a night. Not a romantic night.. but one that examined and pondered the mysteries of life and love. It wasn't just those two either, there was one other person there, I believe. One night in Paris, after midnight.. 3 celebs ran into each other and had a long human to human chat. And he came out with it after she passed, and shared with us how he felt about her. Which was lovely. So now, he's a lovely man, to me. xo :)

Gladiator...one of my favorite films....can watch it over and over again

RUSSELL is one of the most INTERESTING, ELOQUENT, HUMOROUS person I have ever seen in interviews.  He seems to be a real person, not just another self-absorbed actor.

IMO Master and Commander is one of his best cinematic roles.

Now I'm totally sold on Mr Russell Crowe! ..... AGREED
OUR GLORIOUS DEAD SHOULD BE FOREVER HONORED AND REVERED FOR THEIR SACRIFICE WHICH LEAD TO THE FREEDOM WE ALL ENJOY❤🙏

What a self aware intelligent individual
