In this video I’ll be showing you the process of making my own “Louise carmen” or travelers inspired journal. I made this video after making my first attempt. For this second journal my leather was cut 9 by 14.5 inches, and the grommets were started about 4.75 inches in from the front cover, and about 3/16 from the top and bottom edges. :)

My Materials:
-A piece of clearance ‘real leather’ brand triumph leather
-Grommet set: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PH6MX7M?...
-hammer or mallet (for grommets)
-Rotary blade or exacto knife
-sandpaper
-elastic
cutting mat
-notebooks ( I used moleskin cahier notebooks)
-charms (some of the bigger charms are just from hobby lobby, but the smaller ones I found at an antique store)
