I actually think that's a nifty little design they made for the transport aircraft to be storing core Fighters in such a way it really does shows how technology did develop a little bit differently in the Thunderbolt version of the universal timeline
Thuderbolt really show us how these technology can be utilized more deeply and widely. It is not only an expensive technology and only produced in very limited quantities for certain people, but it can also be adopted and modified to make it easier for the technology to be used in various aspects and cheaper to produce
Pretty interesting to see dogfights between actual aircraft as opposed to with mobile suits (not counting transformable MS). Haven’t seen anything like this in any gundam content I’ve seen so far. I’ve heard some good things abt thunderbolt so I’m definitely gonna give this one a watch someday.
Wish more of thes suits from this series could be added to gbo2, like there is a flamethrower acguy, ground Gundam type s, those shield gms etc that still aren't in the game
I found the dogfight interesting. Especially when the GUNDAM novelization described the Core Fighter as being too under powered and not agile enough for air to air combat.
