Kaleb was about to fight cancer behind the barn and Charlie was trying to figure out how he was going to convince the council to overturn the prognosis. š
Kaleb's obviously heartbroken but I've never seen Charlie so shaken. He's a very stoic and steadfast fellow and seeing him so shocked was pretty upsetting.
You know heās a good guy when people that work for him are genuinely sad and worried about him. Kaleb looked like it was his own dad telling him he has cancer. Friendships like that are super rare.
It's the initial look of horror combined with the sudden realisation that your friend in front of you who was a rock in your life, might be gone forever within a very short period of time.
It's a duo of feelings that absolutely floors you and you'll have no idea how it feels until, God forbid, it happens to you.
The amount of misfortune Clarkson had the previous year during season 5 is staggering. Stress upon stress combined with delays and medical emergencies... It's mindblowing. Thankfully, he himself has said the treatment was successful and he's back in action.
1:06 the look on Charlieās face is so sad. You know thereās a million thoughts running in his head. He doesnāt show much emotion but you can tell the difference here. Genuinely heartbroken
The amazing thing about Jeremy is he has great bonds with his team, they rip on each other and just make it you laugh while doing it, but end of the day they care about each other. you can see the bond he had on top gear in that scene. I think we all wish jeremy a speedy recovery.
What I was staggered about is him deciding to do this on camera. He could tell them off camera and mention (or not at all) in the episode, but his brain is so wired up to being a presenter that I bet he thought "well, you know what...that would make some really good TV". He even kept his treatment a secret until the premiere. Like you KNOW he likes a good TV story and he knew that apart from anything in his personal life, it's just a damn good story to tell
