Caravanning Australia full-time means taking the good with the bad… and this episode delivers both, as we head into Remote Outback NSW and Cameron's Corner. We roll into the town of Tibooburra and setting up camp, but the real mission starts when we leave the caravan behind and jump into the Hilux with a massive 600 km day trip to the legendary Cameron Corner, a bucket-list destination for anyone travelling Australia.The endless corrugations of the this outback is relentless, shaking the Hilux and everything in it, things started breaking, and we had the fear of what might fail next.This is what extreme Aussie Outback 4WD adventures, remote camping trips, and adventures off the beaten track in Australia are really like, unpredictable and sometimes challenging.

I recognised Bella our friends dog ... The little black dog you showed at about 23 minutes in.
Funny how Australia is so vast... But still able to catch someone who you know in the outback.😊

Pack saddle is amazing we stopped there for lunch to take it in. We camped at the low cost camp at Tibooburra it was fantastic. Looks like a great day trip you did, we got rained out and had to turn around and go back down through Broken Hill again to get out. Love this part of the country. Hope you can sort your loose bits easily enough.

It was great meeting you guys at Mundi. I did a similar route on my way back to Qld - Tiboobura then a couple of nights at Cameron Corner & then next stay at Noccundra. I well remember that very ordinary stretch of road that turned my car seat into a massage chair & I too was doing between 15 & 20kph most of the way along that section until I got to the graded part. I was also towing my Avan (Cruiseliner Adv+) & it coped really well. The only damage I had was a rock (I presume) took out part of the housing of the trailer plug where it attaches to the car but my van lights & brakes still worked so I was pretty pleased with that. A couple of zip ties kept everything in place until I could get it replaced back home. Gotta love how useful those zip ties are.

Loved the wire sculptures, who have thought in the middle of no where you stumble across artwork. Do you lose any weight while travelling on the corrugated roads? Zip ties are also something you require. Great Vidot. See you next week.

Hello, it is called the Dog fence (Dingo fence and is the longest fence in the world, starting at Jimbour (Southern Qld) and finishing at the Nullarbor Plains, Eyre Peninsula. It was built to prevent the dingos from coming down south, in order to protect the Sheep stock.
