Is the NTV show "Kukli" (The Dolls), created by Viktor Shenderovich, the leading satirical entertainment program on Russian television? What caused the cancellation of the popular show? And what were the jokes on "Kukli" under Yeltsin and Putin? And what did Shenderovich think about "cartoon personalities"?
This and more is covered in a video essay about the TV show "Kukli" (The Dolls), covering the period from 1995 to 2003.

The author's opinion may not reflect the opinion of the creators of "Kukli."
