Hope Nathan Lyon plays for 3 more year(or at least another couple of years) as he is 36 years old.He should obviously get to 600 wickets with ease but hope he gets close to 700 and I know that he is still pretty hungry to keep playing test cricket.

Arguably the best Aussie off-spinner to ever play the game. Dead set champion.

The thing that separates Lyon from other leg spinner is that he can control the amount of turn very well. Sometimes the turn is too much, sometimes very little, and sometimes moderate. That's why he is so dangerous.

I have seen cricket since 1990s and would accept careers bowling of Courtney Walsh 519 wickets, Kapil Dev 434.wickets ,...so these few tirelessly bowled against good opponents showing skills. But in the list Nathan lion an offspinner taking so many wockets is clearly seen as underrated performances skills and batsmen opponents clearly giving their wickets away like coaching club cricket. Even anil kumble, Stuart broad , muthaih muralidharan, ravichandran...upon determining their age body stature and skills their wickets are infact only 312, 278, 243, 212. With exception like extended career of Shane warne. Such shoulder dropping matches with lesser known enthusiasm are relished by virat kohli (copycat batsman of Sachin Tendulkar) , harbhajan Singh.
