Heck yeah, more Quest for Glory

This kid in my 10th grade chemistry class worked at a computer store and gave me a bootleg of this game in 1996. I could not get past the three stooges brigand part and asked him to come over after school to get me through it. We ended up going to junior prom together, then senior prom, and yes we’re still married with a beautiful gamer son almost 30 years later!! Who knew that Sierra games tough puzzles could facilitate a love match? 😂❤ I love watching your videos and reminiscing about our first “date” 2:45:36

Hello Mr. Brigands, I usually watch your Video Games 101 channel, but the other day I randomly decided to look up this game and your let's plays have been coming up in my algorithm since then. This game (as Hero's Quest) was my first exposure to PC gaming when I played it on my cousin's computer way back when and it has been in the corner of my mind since then.

This game is how I discovered Let’s Play With Brigands!!!!!

Every stab sounds like a cartoon crunching sound.

This is really what makes YouTube so good:  The ability to connect people with their past in such an amazing and positive way!

Time to embark on watching the whole "Mr Nice Guy" series.

Ahh my comfort series

You can sell infinite mushrooms to the healer for infinite gold

Best series of games. I got the first back in the 80s, i spent many days trying to figure it all out with typing commands (I was 7 and there was no internet.. there was a guide book that came with the game but it was coded and you had to have a red piece of plastic in front of the page to read it so felt like cheating). Then played it sooo many more times, until I randomly found the anthology in a circuit city and I screamed, "THERE ARE THREE MORE?!". Must of played this series (1-4... I hate 5, but I did only play it for the first time a few years ago on a steam, and only beat it twice.) like 50,000 times.

I've made fighters with all skills, that was fun (They didn't really prepare for a paladin that could steal the drum in 3, but 3 was so buggy when it came to the competition throwing a spear through a ring that I just found it easier to skip that and steal the damn thing). And Always got chainmail on every character in the first game, because it transfers over through all the games and is the only way to have a thief or mage in chainmail

Awesome!  Looking forward to the other games!

"The service here is great."
Yeah, except when Shema gets fur in the food...

I downloaded a strange version of the game in which defeating the sword master is impossible and Yorrick throws books at me in the maze room.

Liked video and shared on Twitter

Tony is my hero

Im pretty sure i didn't imagine this as a kid but in the EGA version you can go through the Brigands death trap. On normal speed you can run through and 'jump over log' and fight 3 Brigands in a row and then straight on to Toro. Its bad ass. Def need the chainmail too

Love all of these video's/guides! I'm currently playing QFG as a Fighter to relive the Glory days!

you actually want to talk to the guild master as a fighter for points also as the fighter you need to kill every type of creature including the night time ones and  including fred.  Fighter=fight fred thief=password and mage=calm spell

I didn't remember the name of this game I had to Google it in a round about way. But I remember playing this when I was a very small child.( Trying to play when my brother wasn't hogging the computer) I remember there is a building you could get into in town that you could train all your physical skills and max them out in a safe place. I remember trying to grind it for so long.

Old is gold <3. Thank you for all your efforts! ❤
