14:13 Yeah, a head chef that cut costs everywhere and almost leads a restaurant to ruins, I'm sure eeeeeeveryone will listen to someone like that lol.

I’m pretty sure wasting meat is considered a sin and an insult to the animal in some cultures

Sure, let me terminate the contract with someone providing the restaurant with award winning wagyu. What could possibly go wrong?

Never terminate the contract without consulting the CEO and Wagyu steak are expensive

You need to be careful when you cancel contracts, especially if you don't read the fine print.  Tsuku thought he had the decision on what food he could cook, but he acted on his own without consulting others.  His actions have consequences for the restaurant.  He now regrets throwing the golden opportunity away all because he was cutting costs.

10:03 “Only serve premium wagyu” and “there not supposed to be on our level” is a wild statement. Like how is a restaurant serving “premium wagyu” not supposed to be on the level of some “high end” restaurant that cuts corners to save a couple extra bucks while also cutting quality? If anything they would be above their level.

Tsuku should've been fired the moment he terminated that contract.  The moral of this story is: "Never underestimate the power of beef!"

What the point of cutting costs, if you have nothing that is equal to or greater than the previous product.

I can't really feel sorry for Dokidoki restaurant.  The owner could have stopped tsuku after the waygu incident, but let him keep cutting the costs. Thanks for the hard work in making  the stories.

12:05 This I agree with.

head chef calling the shots before consulting management is the downfall

hang on a moment, the Wagyu is so good it won a competition multiple times, but it "doesn't meet your quality standards"? if that is the case, you may as well not have any Wagyu, seeing as if that's the case then there would be no Wagyu at all that meets your standards

2:33 u can hear a cat in the back meowing xD LOVE IT (have cats myself )

You know this is the first one of these types of stories I found were the antagonist isn't evil, bad or malicious in anyway.

He is just a misguided idiot that made a irreversible mistake that costed him his job later down the line.

Poor mr yamashita, tsuku almost made him bankrupt with his careless attitude... First, he ended the contract with keiichi wagyu meat, made the restaurant paid massive cancellation fee... And then, he tried to do the same with imported beef... Good thing mr yamashita demoted tsuku, if not, he lost everything just because tsuku

Greed is the death of a company. I worked as a chef before. When you cut corners and try using cheaper products the food will always suffer for it. Causing you to lose more than what you were trying to save.

awwww that was a very cute way of proposing,  and tsuku shouldve been pinalized with paying the cancellation fee without consulting the ceo and the managing board tbh

Keyword: "heedless"
Tsuku's action make the restaurant known for wagyu meals to go in shambles. And the fact that he unwittingly cancel the contract without his ceo's knowledge did not improve the ratings in the restaurant either due to making alternatives to their famous menu and have to pay the fee for canceling it.
Thanks to him, keiichi's supply of wagyu went to the rival restaurant and inadvertly revitalize the once going decline dining joint into a big hit.
Currently Kobe beef is the most expensive type of wagyu beef in japan (if im not wrong) and Wagyu beef is one of the most expensive meats to buy.
As they say, "The person who had bad experience will certainly have a beef to someone."

Auguste Gusteau:”Anyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great.”
Anton Ego:”Not everyone can become a great artist, a great artist can come from anywhere, echoing Gusteau's message.”

This is why you consult with others about something that was around before you before you do anything about it.  Perhaps an old family tradition or some mysterious fence in a field; everything has a reason.  While we might not understand the reason now, somebody back when the decision was made understood why.
