AAAAAAAA, I listened to this at least TWICE while making today's Motherly update and just THE EMOTIONS! My friend made this for me back in the day and God do I miss talking to him. He didn't die or anything, but he kind of fell out of the fandom and started volunteering at a hospital and last I heard he was doing such amazing work for people in need, and gosh do I just miss him. You put so much emotion into his story and you truly helped make it even more perfect than it already was.

I really, REALLY love the 'Orphan Scootaloo with Firefly having been her mom' headcanon because, for me at least, it would explain Scootaloo's obsession with Rainbow Dash so perfectly. It also adds such emotional depth to Scootaloo's character and I just, I do love everything about it.

Stuff like this makes me so glad I became a part of this fandom and that I got to contribute to it, and that people love my work enough to reciprocate the love and I just, AAAA, I can't contain all this love!

Thank you Scribbler! Thank you for this wonderful honor <3

My own mother had her own battle with cancer only a few years ago. And while she's alive, and doing her best to move on with her life, I can't help but feel heartbroken when I listen to stories like this one, and to think that this could've happened to my mom. I'm really impressed by this story, and it made me cry a lot all throughout. Thank you if you ever read this, Miss Scribbler.
*also, I don't think you'll ever really see this..*

I think what she says about how we face death is probably the most important factor for anyone, I know that I would rather face death doing something useful or in service of another... but not slowly and out of my control.

Poor Scootaloo, she lost her mother from cancer

R.I.P Firefly, Scootaloo misses her

Makes me think how ridiculous it is that a supposedly wealthy country like America has no national health service or similar.

@darkgalaxy6133 9 years ago

this is the saddest story i ever heard i have never cried that hard poor scotaloo and firefly

@moonmare27 9 years ago

I hope there would be a fanfic on sandy’s side of this story.

I feel so sorry for Scootaloo's mom and Scootaloo😢😔, I also love the motherly Scootaloo series

God damit Scribbler.... way to make me cry. This fic is extremely realistic. I lost both my parents to cancer and the pain described is only a fraction of what a cancer patient goes through.

@The1Ryu 9 years ago

Ahh so good. I have to go see if there any more of the Motherly Scootaloo dub that I have haven't seen.

@mat_dat 9 years ago

That's heartbreaking. The emotion caught at the letter sent in pure distress (18:10)... Great recording, Scribbler. And the fic itself; That's powerful stuff, sure made me think.
Thumbs up, both on this video and on the fic itself.

@looneyskittle1597 9 years ago

i lost my grann to lukimia and this brought back memories

@andrewk4331 9 years ago

that was the most beautiful and sad story I have ever heard and so close to many people, cancer is something that has in some way affected everyone. your voice is so good for these fanfics.. you really are a great narrator. I should really watch more of your vids and give your channel the attention it deserves.
