My wife died 3 weeks ago. Our love started in windsor. Seeing all the places where we would meet after school. Downtown was awesome  "fast eddies"   man i wish there was a time machine so we could go back and fall in love again, i'd hold her little tighter and kiss her little longer. Thanks windsor for giving me my true love. We moved to los Angeles later on in life but I'll tell you, nothing beats windsor in the 80's and 90's.

Filmed in 1989. Better times.

Thats the Windsor I remember ad grew up in before I moved away after college... sadly it is quite a sad place now

I’m from Metro Detroit. Used to go there 99-00 every weekend before I turned 21 with my friends. Jokers, Dante’s, Windsor Music Cafe, Reactor. But my best memories of Windsor are going to the old Windsor Arena to watch the Spitfires play. Man that place was insane!

On a Halloween night in 1968 I delivered a baby boy at Deaconess Hospital in Detroit.  I remembered the Canadian Club distillery sign flashing outside of my window.  It kept me up at night.  I'll never forget that sight - nor the sound of the Detroit River traffic.  The noise of the river had freighters blowing their horns and people laughing on their boats which they raced up and down the river.

I lived in Windsor for a short time in the 90’s.
I was American, but my boyfriend was Canadian and lived in Windsor.
I will always remember the fun I had there. There was always something to do.

Born and raised here. No matter what happens, I'll never stop loving Windsor!

I AM very glad to live here. A big town with a small city feel.

Something about these videos removes my anxiety. Less population, less drug abuse, less poverty and more jobs what a different time these videos were filmed

I was born in Windsor Ontario at the Hotel Dieu 1957 ,my grandfather use to take me to the river and watched the boblo boats

Being able to see this video really opens my eyes to how beautiful Windsor once was.. Isn't the same now thats for sure..

I remember going downtown when all the stores were all open people were so friendly the places were so busy . then go down to river front and watch the boats and the Fireworks once a year the place was always packed with people it was so relaxing it was Great back in the day

Born here, it's an absolute criminal tragedy what's happened to this place

I miss my city. This pandemic shook my life up but I'll be back. Born and proudly raised.

Being born and raised here, this video is weird but I love it. It's nice to see the history immortalized in history.

So this is just on everyone's recommended page that's from Windsor, wassup y'all

Finally. Footage of the Ambasador Bridge when it was painted black.

I was born in Lebanon but my family ascaped to Windsor canada from war

I was born and raised in Windsor and where I currently reside i love Windsor thank for the nostalgic video of my beautiful city  .

That river is about 3 blocks away from my house. Hiram Walkers is a 3 minute drive.
