The movie was wonderful. The show was good too.

Bring me back to my youth

I loved the movie. I wished this series lasted.

I bought them all 8 off someone and I will post them all for everyone to enjoy .I wish they would have released these on dvd but I dont think they ever will so I hope this way everyone around the world will get them .Thanks for watching.

Fun, wholesome, family entertainment in the 70's. There is however no way Shaun's character could have changed his bike wheel tube in time to win the race. Just saying.  "DA DOO RUN RUN"

I watched this  show back in 1982 ..in El Salvador ...it was in spanish

I remember these being on tv in Britain in 1982 the year i finished school, seemed very relevant to me back then. Could never remember the name of the show these 40 years since but saw Vincent Gardenia in another article and i remembered he was the Dad in the show.
Thank you for posting this a 42 year mystery solved at last (:

holy crap ,,,,,  I love the movie, never knew there was a series !!!

mother and the moocher are same actors from the move

this show is kind of goofy, and i'm here for it.it's  shame ep 8 was never aired.also had to go to a different source to find the episodes that are missing

The original, terrific theatrical  film wasn't very successful when first released in my native country, therefore the TV series was NEVER shown!!!
Thank you so much for the opportunity of finally being able to see it!!!

I expected this to be stupid - you know, cuz it's tv - but it actually looks pretty good.

I watched this as a kid and still enjoyed it today.I can't say that for very many old programs. Thanks for posting these memories.

@10:30 Jeff Daniels!

I loved the film seen it twice in the theater ,but I did not know there was a tv series thanks for posting it

David Blasé the real life inspiration for the movie  was my high school biology teacher

Had forgotten about this series. Glad it popped up , thanks!

Wow these old bikes take me back to the 70s when I first started racing.
I don't know any rider who would be seen dead with foam bar grips.

This was what, 1979-80? Remember it being popular for a while.

I love this show and all things Italian ❤ 🇮🇹
