Thank you for visiting my country for so long! Glad you loved it and you really went to some out of the way less known places. Lazarus beach was a great idea and yes that fish soup is always a long queue haha. Always ate it when I used to work nearby. People start queueing at 10.00am sometimes.

Next time you can go soak your feet at the Sembawang Hot Spring (It’s free too haha) after all the walking. Safe travels back home and on your next journey. 🎉

Welcome to Singapore! 🤩🤗

Fumigating is more for the mosquitoes. It’s necessary. But, it isn’t done every week. There is a schedule for each estate. Vaping is different. It’s unnecessary.

We do not fumigate every week. Only when that area has reported cases of dengue fever which is spread by the Ades mosquitos. Recently, we switched to releasing Wolbachia-Aedes Mosquitos to tackle the dengue problem.

Fumigation is a practice to prevent the spread of dengue caused by mosquito bites. If this was a rural area, then you kinda expect the mosquitoes and all the diseases associated.with it. However when you live in an urban area with no clear boundaries for fauna & flora, then it becomes a little tricky. What if you get bitten by a mosquito and die from dengue fever, does the next-of-kin have the legal right to sue the owner of the garden when the mosquitoes were breeding? In 2017, a 270-year old tree in the Botanical Gardens fell & killed an expatriate. Her French husband ended-up suing National.Parks... we don't want a repeat of that!

Well. Vaping is directly into your airway while fumigating disperses. No one stands around in the fumes anyway. I don’t get why you think vaping is less harmful.
