People rag on season 8, and rightly so. However, this is one of the best moments in the entire show.

I love how Tyrion gets off his seat to see such a momentous occasion. Not only to witness Brienne being the first female to be Knighted in the Seven Kingdoms, but also seeing how it's his big brother, who proudly volunteered, to be the one to do it.

I love how intense this moment is between Jamie and Brianne, so that Jamie is startled by the clapping, as though he’d forgotten there were others in the room.

No matter what else the show runners f'd up, this scene was beautifully written and performed imho.

I love that all the men  in the room are treating the moment with reverence and respect.

We were all Tormund in that moment of joyous clapping. 🥰

Find you someone who hypes you up the way Tormund hypes up Brienne.

I don't know how many times I watched this scene, but I cried every single time! Strength and honor, Ser Brienne!

The brightest moment in the clusterfuck that was Game of Thrones season 8. Brienne’s smile gets me 😭every time.

Best scene in the whole show.  Brienne, the person in the whole 7 kingdoms who most deserves to be a knight, being knighted by Jamie, the man whom she taught what his knighthood really meant during his time as her prisoner/companion.

Those words are so simple, but so powerful. And the way Jamie delivers those words? It's not just because of his relationship with Brienne but as a knight he took those words seriously (in his way, he wasn't a saint but he was undeniably a defender of HIS realm/house and speaker of truth....for the most part) and knew that Brienne did too. She was definitely worthy of that title and all that came with it.

I do love how as Jamie says "Arise Brienne of Tarth...a knight of the Seven Kingdoms", you hear the music begin to swell and rise in time with it, so even the music is lifting her up into her new status as a knight.

I never thought I'd actually like the guy that pushed Bran out the window but here we are.

Tormund was such a hopeless romantic, but, still very strong and intimidating. Yet still respectful. Great guy for Brienne.

Ser Duncan the Tall will be so proud of his great grand daughter.

"I don't even want to be a knight."
Pod the Rod - "That was one big pile of bullshit that just came out of your mouth."

Indian Calypso lady was me, absolutely sobbing

This scene was the most moving of the entire series IMHO, I loved it!!!

I like how this scene was witnessed.   Tyrion goes on to the be Hand to Bran.  Podrick was there. Tormand  and Sir Davos.  Jamie dies in the end but the rest can go on and say "Yes Brianne is Tarth is in fact a Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. I was there when it happened."  So her legitimacy can't be questions.----Yes I know this is not real.
