Video ideas:
1- Rebuild a team with randomized settings. Do this by using an rng to decide the difficulties, draft quality, trade restrictions, etc.
2- Simulate the careers of Barry the Bot and Gary the God. Barry starts at a 40 ovr and you spin a wheel each year to make him better with only a few downgrades on the wheel but Gary gets a bad wheel with only a few positive upgrades but starts as a 99. See who ends up with the best stats.
3- Wheel of attributes: Spin the wheel of attributes with every possible attribute in the game (vert, strength, driving lay, mid range, etc.,) and give the whole roster a 99 in that stat (start with a full roster of Barry the Bots). Keep spinning until you go 82-0. Also spin the wheel multiple times per season so that it doesnt take forever. 3-5 should be good.
4- RNG rebuild: Start with a fantasy draft. Have an rng choose between 1-20 and draft the player whose overall ranking corresponds with the number generated. Then, every season use an rng to do 1-3 different trades and the player included is chosen by the rng (1-14). The trade you do is decided by the rng as well (set the range to the total amount of trades that are offerred). Drafting will be the same as the fantasy draft. The only thing you decide is free agency
5- Mystery box career sim: Open the mystery boxes to help Barry the Bot become the goat. Have big attribute upgrades but some downgrades as well.
6- Goat series: Rebuild an expansion team and find a player in the draft who could be the greatest of all time at something (shooting, scoring, defense, etc.) and play out their career (that means play games Danny!). Rebuild the team for their whole career and you succeed if you achieve the goal meaning that you became the best ever at the category of choice. To do this, you may need to make sure the team is never TOO good so the player can do as much as they can do to break the records.
7- Rebuild two different expansion teams in different conferences. Make the greatest rivalry of all time between the two teams. The teams should have a unique limitation. One team can’t make trade and must build through the draft and the other has no draft picks but can make trades. The team to win ten championships first wins.
8- Wheel of historic rebuilds series: Spin the wheel of years and then spin the wheel of teams and rebuild that team from that season. Some ways to make it more than just a wheel could have some spots represent expansion teams, upgrade spots (trade override one trade and then spin again until you get the team you will rebuild), or a roster of Barry the Bots.
9- Start with an expansion team. Set the season to the minimum amount of games length. Play every game on two minute quarters. If you win, you get the other team’s best player. Try to win a championship
10- Go back and rebuild the 03’ Cavs without not only LeBron, but any real players. Use real draft classes but only take the AI generated players. Only one trade per season and only one free agent over 90 ovr per season (excluding bringing back your players)
11- Rebuild the Warriors but every player on the roster is reset to a rookie (only on the Warriors and not any other team)
12- Rebuild the Blazers from Greg Oden’s rookie year
13- Simulate the career of Danny2k. Start an expansion team and put Danny2k on it. Danny starts with minimum tendencies, badges, and attributes. Every game the team wins, is an attribute/tendency/badge being boosted to max of your choice. Do not control any other parts of his career except for playing in big games (if coaches don’t sub Danny in, then just force him to be in for the content) so as a 40 ovr he should not be starting.
14- 2010 Warriors rebuild without trading up for picks and no drafting Klay or Draymond. You can still trade for picks but not for picks that are already numbered besides second rounders
15- Fantasy draft a team and then add Barry the Bot to the team. Every win the team gets is +2 overall and each loss is a reset to the minimum in the wheel of attributes.
16- Wheel of attributes: Every single attribute in the game is on the wheel. Add Barry the Bot to an expansion team. Every win, spin the wheel and max out the attribute it lands on. Every loss, spin the wheel and rake away 20 from the attribute it lands on. Start Barry at a 65 because yes.
17- Nico Harrison rebuild: Rebuild the Mavs prior to the Luka trade but never trade Luka. Attempt to win a championship while having a top three defense of all time because “defense wins championships”
18- Randomize Barry the Bot’s career. Every season, spin a wheel of every attribute in the game and then use an rng to decide the rating Barry will get in that attribute (40-99). Repeat this process three times per season.
19- Win a championship with an expansion team while accepting every trade but in the highest trade difficulty possible. Every other move, you can do. Also, have two max contract Barry the Bots on the team.
20- Go back to 2003 and, with an expansion team of Barry the Bots, rebuild to become the greatest team of all time (most championships). Do this without drafting any real players or ever getting any actual players you can trade for and sign auto-generated players but just no real players at all.
21- Win a championship with only centers or only point guards
22- Auto-generate three random players and assign each a number. Then use an rng (1/3) to decide each attribute (do this by rolling the rng and whoever’s number is chosen, get the attribute you are currently on)
23- Make Curry tear his achilles so that he becomes a 40 ovr and then rebuild the Warriors
24- Rebuild an expansion team but every deadline you are forced to trade two random players or picks (use a wheel of 1-10 and two slots that say picks)
25- Restart Ben Simmons’ career but give him a 100 three tendency and give him ten upgrade points for every three he makes. Badges cost ten upgrade points and each point is +1 to any attribute
