In Why so serious Jonhyun had a car accident and hurt his face, they rerecorded the song for the mv, but in the album they kept his version. Taemin did so well that he debuted as a soloist after it. The first time Jonhyun join them on the live was so magical.

"The Feeling" was released before the Hard MV and it was a gift to fans. The MV has a lot of easter eggs for Shawols referencing SHINee's 15 year journey. The beam at the end is considered to represent Jonghyun. Taemin opening the MV is also significant because this was the first MV and SHINee comeback after his military service, he had only been discharged like  2 months by the time this MV dropped so Shawols went crazy for the teaser that showed him at the beginning of the MV. I cried the first few times I listened to. I can hear Jonghyun so clearly in this song (figuratively speaking). It makes me very happy.

Dream Girl was so iconic. They performed with the mic stands on live stages and the mic stands are used for the entire choreography until the end. Each mic stand was specifically made for each respective member so they'd be the perfect weight for the members to stand on them but also pick them up and swing them around. They're probably sitting in an SM basement now collecting dust but they sure gave us a lot during that time lol There was an iconic performance where one mic stand broke and SHINee were praised for how smoothly they got rid of the pieces while not interrupting their performance for even a millisecond. They did it so smoothly many people didn't even realize the stand had broke initially during the performance.

Why So Serious MV only has 4 members because Jonghyun had an injury at the time so he couldn't shoot the MV but he joined them for live stages later.  They recorded it as 4 for the MV but the official album version has Jonghyun's vocals.

I truly believe SHINee's vocals can carry any track. They are just that good.

Hell yeah! You seriously need to check out SHINee, they have a lot of songs you would love. I thought this vid was 5 months old but it's actually 5 minutes 😂

edit: sorry, by 'seriously' i meant like more full album reactions, i know you have reacted to shinee on multiple occasions 😅

For the Hard MV, Onew isn't in some scenes because this is when he was dealing with health issues related to his neck/back. He did not do any live performances for this era and went on health hiatus for about 8 months or more after encouragement from the members. He did record for the entire album though. This is also why he isn't in the Juice performance video at all. Later he said that he'd had surgery on his neck I think. As far as we know he's all good now!

Hard was a bit divisive in the fandom from what I saw. Some people felt like it didn't sound like SHINee, BUT if you listen to very early SHINee, they started with a more RnB/Hip-Hop energy and this was them doing a more experimental version of it. It still sounded very SHINee to me and I loved it but it is different.

Dream Girl and Why So Serious reminds me of JK Wave MTV Asia days 🥺

You should react to them live next they have some incredible live performances.
