I gotta say these "Girl holding a mic in her room while explaining things on her wall" videos is becoming a genre at this point.

She didnt even edit the music in... she played it from her phone. This is exactly the production i've been looking for.

watching the trilogy at 5x speed with this in the background so i can act like its directors commentary

As a dwarf lover and elf hater it's mandatory for me to remind you that one of the reasons the Dwarves hate the elves is because the elves literally hunted them for sport when they first appeared.

“Elrond’s job is to have basically infinite knowledge and occasionally tell us some of it” 😂😂 absolute gold

you cannot imagine my displeasure at finding out upon finishing this that it was only posted four weeks ago, rather than three years ago and therefore you haven't covered the next two parts yet.

Tom Bombadill didn't even make it into the "lore the movies skipped" video 😔

“Saying ‘Legolas’ and shit just getting done” lmfao

These vids are gold.

galadriel to frodo: "this is not a group endeavor!"
galadriel to the group: matching outfits

when i first watched the lotr when i was 8 my dad paused it whenever i had a questiom and explained in depth what was going on, which is how it should be watched. kudos for making that for other humans

Should mention that Arwen was not raised ALONGSIDE Aragorn, she was living with her grandmother so he didn't meet her until they were adults

"He also kills a guy over it (*the one ring), but we've all been there."

25:27 Now we all know where Gondor is, but we still don't know where Gondor was when the westfold fell.

I cannot believe how dirty you did Merry and Pippin. They were Frodo's best friends, figured out he was acting squirrely, interrogated Sam to figure out what was going on, and made secret arrangements to come with Frodo and Sam when they left the Shire. Their coming along was premeditated with months of planning. Even after the "black riders" chasing them through the Shire, Frodo giving them the option of staying behind, and telling them there would be worse to come, they both didn't hesitate to continue along. While they are certainly comic relief, they are also two incredibly brave hobbits.

watching this entire vid only to realize it was made 4 days ago and i cannot binge the next two immediately is so pain. good job

The Bridge in Khazad dum was built that way because it served as a protective measure against possible hostile attackers, can't cross an entire assault army at once, it needs to go slow 1 by 1, which makes the defense against invaders much easier even with far smaller numbers

what's important to understand about middle earth is that while we don't know how a lot of this stuff works, Tolkien also didn't know.

god i wish i never left this comment lol, nerds keep coming to it with with some damn "erm acshually ☝️🤓"

"There is no 'righteous' or 'for the greater good' reason to die for them, but Boromir did it anyway. He just cared."

Man I can't even get through a recap of Boromir's death without crying

"We are now slaying cohesively"

22:18
Samwise: im sorry.. you were STABBED?!
Frodo: LIGHTLY stabbed
