Hi, I’m Mo.
August was another great reading month! I love reading books in translation and August is Women in Translation Month! During WIT we try to highlight books written by women and translated into the language in which you read. Bonus points if the book was also translated by a woman. I read books that were translated from Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese and Swedish.

This was the second month I've read for HRCYED 3.0 so a video is coming soon where I talk about how these books fit into each prompt.
My first HRCYED check in here: HRCYED 3.0 Month One Check In | July 2026 ...

I read my graphic novel in August (a manga!), but I didn't get to my NYRB book for the month! I'm trying to read at least one of each every month in 2026. Here are my stats:
GN 8/12
NYRB 6/12
