Tip fpr begginers: when you arr doing the heel flat,put a stich marker on your chain one (turning chain) so you should end with 7 markers each side (14 rounds) so it will be easier to pick them up afterwards when you are turning the heel. Also I work on both socks at the same time

I made a medium pair using Patons Classic Wool worsted in dark grey and aran (cream). They fit nicely on my size 7 feet. I used about 1.25 balls of my main colour and about 0.25 of a ball of my accent colour. It took me 3 or 4 part time days per sock.

Thank you for this pattern. It was generous of you to share it and making the video tutorial. I had now finished my first pair and loving them. I can also see how I could change it but using the same number of stcs

The pattern only goes up to size 5/6 UK sizing. How can I make them bigger?

This is awesome; thank you! It is not difficult for a beginner crocheter (‘beginner’ meaning someone who has made 2-3 projects, not this being the first). If this is anyone’s first experience with crocheting, you should start with a scarf or a simple blanket :) This video will feel easier after you give your journey more of a start, before jumping into shaped crochet projects.
