Pin my comment for no other reason than I asked

Thou wert the fated one! It was prophesied that thou wouldst vanquish the Sith, not ally with them! Restore harmony to the Force, not cast it into shadow!...... Thou wert mine own brother, Anakin. I cherished thee.

– Ye end is nigh, sir Anakin! I possess these loftier lands!
– Thou bescornest mine might!
– Forsake thy attempt.

Sir Kenobi: Lo, I hath failed thee, Anakin! How I hath failed thee!

Lord Vader: I should hath surmised that the Jedi were plotting to seize rule!

Sir Kenobi: Hark, Anakin! Cannot thou see? Palpatine is most foul!

Lord Vader: Nay, ‘tis the Jedi that art most foul from where I stand!

Sir Kenobi: Then thou art lost to me!

The bard rolled a natural 20 while the DM was narrating the fight.

"Thou hath turned her aganst me!"
"Thou hath wrought so thyself."
"Thou shalt not take my lady! from me!"
"Thy rage and lust for power readily didst hence. Thou hast let this "Lord of the Fae" twist thyself 'till now... 'till thou art what thou a-vowed to undo.
"'Preach not at me, sir Oswald. I behold past lies of the Order. I dread not Satan as thou doth. I hath brought peace, freehood, justice and safety to mine dominion."
"Thy dominion?"
"Make me not slay thee..."
"Sir Arthur, my loyalty lies with the Realm, and the holy Mother Church!
"If thou art not mine ally... thou art mine foe!"
"But the Sidhe art that inflexible in their conduct. I shall do my duty."
"Thou shalt enterprise."

In this fight, they’d probably land a lot more hits on each other, but the armor would protect them, so it would still be very long and exhausting

This now makes me imagine a cross between star wars and Lord of the Rings.

If Elrond and Isildur fought over The One Ring that fateful day.

Obi Wan: Thou wert the chosen one, who should destroy
The Sith, not join their frightful company.
Thou shouldst have brought new balance to the Force,
Not leave it underneath a veil of dark.

Vader: Hear these, my final words: I hate you, aye!

Obi Wan: Thou wert to me a brother, Anakin,
An 'twere we two were of one mother born.
I lov'd thee so, shall sadly mourn thy death.

Samuel Kim been real quiet since this dropped

Lo! Our duel is over, Anakin, for I am upon the higher ground!

Thou dost indeed underestimate mine own skills!

"I hath possesion of thy elevated hills! Thou shalt refrain from overthrowing mine self from it!"
-Sir Obi-Wan Kenobi of the Jedi village

Anakin: Thou hast turned her 'gainst me!

Obi-Wan: Nay, thou hast done this thyself.

Anakin: Thou shalt not take her from me!

Obi-Wan: Thy wrath and thirst for dominion hath already done so. Thou hast allowed this dark lord to corrupt thy mind, till now… aye, till now thou art become the very beast thou swore to vanquish.

Anakin: Preach not to me, Obi-Wan. I see through the deceits of the Jedi. I fear not the shadow as thou dost. I have brought peace, liberty, justice, and security to mine empire anew.

Obi-Wan: Thine empire anew?

Anakin: Provoke me not to slay thee.

Obi-Wan: Anakin, my fealty is to the Republic—to democracy!

Anakin: If thou art not with me, thou art my foe.

Obi-Wan: Only a Sith deals in absolutes. I shall do what I must.

Anakin: Then try thou shalt! [Anakin leaps with fury, blades clash, and battle ensues with epic melodies]

[Five minutes of fierce combat later]

Obi-Wan: I have failed thee, Anakin. I have failed thee.

Anakin: I should have known the Jedi plotted to seize dominion!

Obi-Wan: Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine is vile and wicked!

Anakin: From mine eyes, the Jedi are the true knaves!

Obi-Wan: Then thou art lost!

Anakin: This shall be thy end, my master. [More intense fighting]

Obi-Wan: It is over, Anakin; I hold the higher ground!

Anakin: Thou dost undervalue my power...

Obi-Wan: Dare not attempt it.

[Anakin leaps; Obi-Wan’s blade strikes true. Anakin's limbs are hewn.]

Obi-Wan: Thou wert the Chosen One! ’Twas prophesied thou wouldst destroy the Sith, not join them! Thou wert to bring balance to the Force, not cast it into shadow!

Anakin: [Wailing in agony] I DESPISE THEE!!!

Obi-Wan: Thou wert as my brother, Anakin. I loved thee.

[Anakin bursts into flames, his cries of torment echo. Obi-Wan, overcome with grief, takes Anakin’s longsword and departs, leaving his fallen brother to his fate.]

I'm glad bardcore music isn't going away just yet :)

Beneath the dark mountains, over the flowing rivers of molten fire and on their banks, a duel of legend burns its mark in the oldest story from time primaeval. A battle in the tale of the war of Light and Dark. The fallen apprentice; the master wise. Until the circle completes, neither shall fade into the one.

Ye end is nigh, sir Anakin! I possess these loftier lands!
Thou bescornest mine might!
Forsake thy attempt.
Thou werst mine kin, I loved thine

"Unhand thine maiden, Squire Anakin."
...
"Unhand. Thine. Maiden."
"Thou hast turned yonder maiden against me!"
"Nay! Thou hast done that thineself."
"Thou shan't apprehend her from mine grasp!"
"Thine grama and lust for power hath already done such! Thou hast let yonder Dark King contort you visage such as it is! Now thou hast become thine very thing thou sought to make vanquish!"
"I advise thee not to preach, Sir Obi-Wan! I see through thine Jedi's deceptions! I do not fear thine Dark Lordship as thou doth! For I have brought forth peace, freedom, and justice, and security to mine new kingdom!"
"Thine new kingdom?!"
"Do not make me smite thee..."

“I hath waited e’er-long for this hour, mon petit ami vert… Forsooth, the Order is no more!”

“Not, if in my power to undo, ‘tis! Lapsed is the hour of thy rule. And brief enough, ‘twas not. Hark! If mighty indeed thou art, why then retire?”

“Thou canst not vanquish me. Lord Vader shalt surpass both myself and thou in power!”

“Faith in thine acolyte shall prove most false, may-haps; as be thy faith in the power of thy master, Satan!”
