One observation I've made over time is the smokebox 'dulls' with the heat as we all know, but the door often remains glossy.

Hello again Dan, By using your excellent tutorials, I've managed to convert a few of my Ringfields. The 5 pole version particularly lends itself to decent DCC running & sound operation.

And wow, WHAT a transformation!

You are correct the loco at the gala is really 92134 normally based at the NYMR. The tender is on loan from the Nene Valley's Standard 5.
