This video is a fantastic example of why powerscaling is pretty silly

This is actually just a powerscaling criticism in disguise

On one hand I hate powerscaling on principle

On the other hand being told that the goomba could beat my ass in 4K using powerscaling is funny

A goomba is like a violent dog, but the size of a middle schooler. I aint touchin' that

I sure can't jump high enough to stomp a Goomba, but I could for sure elbow drop one.

@Kaing007 2 months ago

Honestly thought it was gonna be a case of humans generally not being able to jump high enough to cause enough damage. Cause the baseline to jump over one is the height of a small man, achievable for athletes maybe but probably not for the average joe.

See, now THIS is why I love powerscaling. The sheer absurdity of applying science to fiction.

Everytime Alex discusses Mario power scaling, a random item in my house gains sentience

I don't accept that Goombas are cosmic scale because Mario did something crazy. I think he's not using 100% of his power at all times

@JuanSanchez-rg9ov 2 months ago

this video confirmed what I was thinking already: powerscaling is stupid

@SodaSpamtle 2 months ago

i think sometimes we just gotta give up on power scaling and accept somethings were never meant to be consistent

@buttersddragon 2 months ago

ok but i could take on a micro goomba tho

I've literally, with my bare hands, killed a goomba before.
It was just standing around, minding it's own business, when I picked it up and ripped it in two.
