There’s something real between them… and you can feel it.

This Sam Fender & Olivia Dean live performance of Rein Me In at London Stadium is not about showing off — it’s about connection. The kind that doesn’t need explanation. It just lands.

I went into this reaction just to experience it… and what stood out most wasn’t just the vocals — it was the way they meet each other in the music.

Curious how this landed for you — did one moment stand out more than the rest?

If you’re new here, this is a music reaction channel focused on going deeper — not just reacting but really listening to what’s happening underneath the performance.

There’s something about this one that doesn’t need explaining… you just feel it.

For you — was it a specific moment that landed, or the way they stayed connected the whole way through?

I’m curious what you felt in this one.

Best duet in many years, and it’s one that gets better every time you hear it.

So, Sam wrote this song and had Olivia write a female version for the second verse and it completely changed the song. And it did.

I just love the dual perspective of the song. For him it's don't rein me in, I'm a bit messed up I will ruin this relationship,, from her perspective it's don't rein me in and make me love you less. It's a beautiful song.

Jazzy is a great way to describe to her vocals and her own songs. A lot of her singles lean into that jazz sounds and are very good.

Never heard it before, and never heard of either one of them.... i heard a 15-20 second clip on a television program going out for a commercial break... The program was recorded so i was able to go back, and used the phone to find out whom and/or the song was and artists are/were....

It made me think of my love ❤ whom i lost last December 💔.... (to a year long battle w/'C'). i'm lost and heartbroken without her..... and this song just reminded me of her.... she would have loved this wonderful soulful duet..

Ty 👍

This song has just spent 19 weeks at the top of the UK record charts to break the previous record.

The song was originally wrote and sang by Sam fender who is from North Shields on the outskirts of his beloved Newcastle.

Sam and his band often wear the colours of Newcastle United football Club in this case The black and white stripes on Sam's Guitar.

His nickname is The Geordie Springsteen a mix of Bruce Springsteen and Geordie ( A person and the dialect from Newcastle).

Olivia is one of the biggest talents I've seen come from the UK in a long time. And well worth checking out.

My favourite singer though is called RAYE who is renowned for her voice especially when singing live.

I read that your into emotional songs you should watch RAYE sing " I know your hurting" Live at Abbey Road studios it's so beautiful, I'll let her music do the talking.
