Driving test, where someone thought a line of parked cars was traffic, this happened to my husband and I when we visited the UK.  We were in an “estate” (the US calls this a suburb) and on a road that was about two lanes wide.  A line of cars were stopped, so we stopped behind them.  After a couple of minutes, we realized the cars were empty and parked.  We had to pull out into the other “lane” and drive around them.  We had not seen an arrangement like this before.
